Creating and Managing Events

Learn how to plan your first event and manage all the details.

Events are the heart of SYRAKUS. This is where all information comes together: venues, crew, performers, and schedules.

Creating Your First Event

  1. Access Events: Navigate to Events within your organisation.
  2. Add Event: Click on Create event.
  3. Set Basics: Give the event a Title and a Subtitle. Choose the initial Visibility.
  4. Define Schedule: Set the key times:
    • Start Internal / End Internal: When do preparations begin, and when is everything wrapped up?
    • Door time: When do guests have access?
    • Closing time: The official end of the event.
  5. Add Details: After saving, you can add a Description and upload an appealing Cover image on the event’s overview page.
  6. Book Venue: Click on Book venue to assign a previously created venue and the corresponding zones.

Status and Visibility

You can control who can see your event:

  • Status: Events can be in Draft, Scheduled, or Published status.
  • Visibility: Visible according to the selected settings (Public, Internal, or Private via link).

Once your event is created, you can begin detailed crew planning and performer management.
